Erin Hulse

Founder

Erin Hulse is the Founder of Deviate Consulting, which focuses on software selection, implementation, and accounting services for single and multi-family offices.

Erin began her career practicing tax accounting for Plante Moran in Chicago, IL. She spent five years at Bank of America in Chicago in the Global Principal Investments group working with BAML Capital Access Funds Management, LLC, a private equity fund of funds manager and advisor.

In 2010, Erin joined Archway Technology Partners, now SEI Family Office Services, as a Manager of Professional Services where she focused on software implementations for some of the largest family offices in the country. While at Archway, she also held the position of Director of Operations of Proteus, LLC, an investment advisory firm subsidiary. She was also the Director of Business Development of Archway Finance and Operations, a privately held fund administration firm.

Erin works with family office organizations such as Family Office Exchange (FOX) and Family Wealth Report (FWR) to provide industry knowledge via her articles, blogs, and panel discussions. She recently spoke at the Citi Private Bank Family Office Leadership Program on the topic of implementations. Her “Implementation Bootcamp” sessions are widely attended by family offices embarking on a technology implementation project. Deviate’s exclusive “Deviate Demo Collection” is a private, invite only site that brings together demos from popular vendors in the family office technology space. Erin is a connector in the industry and strives to build meaningful business and personal relationships along the way.

Ms. Hulse has been leading Deviate Consulting since 2015, and is based in Indianapolis, IN.

Jeremy Mosbaugh

Implementation Project Manager

As an Implementation Project Manager, Jeremy works directly with clients to understand their accounting and investment operations. During multi-month implementation projects, he tailors software to meet clients accounting needs. Additionally, Jeremy can provide ongoing training and support, troubleshoot issues and offer recommendations based on nearly 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting technology industry.

Sarah Soukup

Implementation Project Manager

Sarah Soukup is an Implementation Project Manager at Deviate and has been with the company since 2017.  With an accounting degree and minor in information technology, as well as prior experience in public accounting and software companies, the family office space has been a natural fit.  Deviate prides itself on customer service and consultation during implementations that help organizations navigate a challenging time.  It is this client focus that inspires Sarah to give her best every day.

Anne Beal

Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations, Anne has been able to secure company infrastructure to benefit the varying needs and wants of our clients as well as the Deviate Team. With a previous career in both K-12 and Adult Education, Anne understands that systems and planning are the driving forces behind the management of any group or initiative, as Deviate has experienced great amounts of growth in recent years. She is solutions-focused and believes that the proper approach to any challenge is through thoughtful intentions and planning to benefit not only the greater good of all stakeholders but the individuals as well.
